Who may use these logos?

You can use these logos if you

  • Have experienced Quake World, Quake II, and Quake III
  • Know what BFG stands for
  • Know how to replace original Quake III resources without changing the original file
  • Know how to perform Strafe Jumps, Rocket Jumps and Plasma Jumps
  • Love Quake and Doom and id.

no matter how well (or terrible) you can play.

What do I express when use these logos?

When using these logos, you are expressing that you are a Quake LOVER, rather than that you play it a lot, or that you play well.

How to use them?

The logos is not copyrighted or trademarked.  The recommended way to use it is on a web page, with an image and a link back to this page.  Here is a snippet of XHTML you can paste into a page (using the small logo).

These logos suit all background colors, because they are pngs with alpha chanels.  You need non-IE based browser such as Firefox, opera, etc. to look it without getting messed graphic.
